Postcard from Edinburgh, Scotland

Unfortunately, I can’t travel often but nothing’s stopping me from living vicariously though the travels of others. I love hearing travel stories and I am fortunate to have friends and family who are always ready to share their experiences from around the world.

I am a Potterhead. I queued up at 5 am to buy the last book in the Harry Potter series – Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And, then I devoured the book that same day. As did my bestie and fellow Potterhead Shalaka. Through the years, we have had a gazillion conversations about the magical world J K Rowling created. Earlier this summer, Shalaka was in Edinburgh and she sent me a wee postcard about The Elephant Cafe, located on 21 George Street, where Rowling wrote the first book.
